Some jewelry is beautiful. Some jewelry is beautiful, and carries a special meaning. Swan Boutique was built for the second kind.

Founded in Washington, DC in 2011, Swan Boutique is a jewelry and accessories brand rooted in symbolism, emotional connection, and the stories we carry with us through life. The name came naturally. Swans bond for life, symbols of love, loyalty, and lasting connection, and that felt like exactly the kind of meaning I wanted woven into everything this brand would become.

I've always believed jewelry becomes most meaningful when it carries emotion, memory, or meaning tied to a moment in life. That belief wasn't formed overnight. It was shaped by years of living it.

From 2004 to 2010, I lived in Los Angeles and immersed myself in the fashion and jewelry world alongside designer and 5th generation jeweler Igal Dahan. He had a vision and a dream, and I believed in it completely. What followed were years of building something together from the ground up. I was part of everything: placing pieces with celebrities at award shows, developing the brand's presence across the country, expanding into international markets, overseeing showroom operations, contributing to creative direction and marketing, and designing the e-commerce store, which at the time was ahead of where most of the industry was thinking.

During those years in Los Angeles, I was involved in every layer of the process. Beyond the business and brand side, I worked closely with the CAD designers during the design and development phase, contributing input that helped shape the final pieces. Together we would oversee the creation of molds for mass production, receive the samples, break them down, and refine every detail until each piece was exactly right before it ever went into production. That process gave me a deep understanding of what true craftsmanship requires, and it changed the way I think about design forever.

The collection closest to my heart from those years was Cuffs of Love, inspired by love, loyalty, friendship, family, and the relationships that define us. The signature hand and heart cuffs symbolized being locked by love, and the razor blade pieces represented something more layered: strength, vulnerability, resilience, and the beautiful complexity of human connection.

I also designed the Key of My Heart pendant during those years, a piece later featured in the 2008 Hallmark Mother's Day Catalog, and one I'm still proud of today.

When the economy shifted and life brought me back to Washington, DC, I carried everything I had learned and loved with me. I introduced the collections throughout the city's fashion and social scene, sponsored charity events, and became part of the growing DC fashion circuit. The demand was real. People wanted to shop online, they wanted to connect with pieces that meant something, and Swan Boutique was born from exactly that. Everything I built here was shaped by that chapter in Los Angeles. The instinct for meaningful design, the understanding of what makes a brand resonate, the belief that a piece of jewelry can hold an entire feeling.

A Personal Note

Swan Boutique has always been about more than jewelry. It's about the moments, the chapters, and the people who shape who we become.

Every collection here carries a piece of that journey, from Los Angeles to Washington, DC, shaped by the people, memories, and experiences collected along the way.

Thank you for being part of the Swan Boutique story.

With love,
